§ Sir J. AndersonThe number of air-raid shelters estimated to be required by the South Benfleet Urban District Council is 5,000. If, as is expected, the first list of names and addresses of eligible householders reaches the Home Office next week, a first allocation of about 800 shelters will be made to the district during the following week.
