§ Mr. StanleyI regret that the precise information desired is not available, as the detailed trade returns for 1938 have not yet been received from certain parts of the Empire. The two British countries of major importance in the production of copper ore are Canada and Northern Rhodesia. Following are particulars of exports of copper and copper ore from those two countries to Japan in 1935 and the latest year for which information is available.
