§ Sir S. HoareThe accident was due to an explosion of a steam-heated vessel in which chemicals were being treated. The cause of the explosion is not at present known but is being investigated. I regret that three men were killed and one was seriously injured. A fifth man was slightly injured but was able to go home after medical attention.
