Captain BalfourThe "Battle" aircraft allotted to the Volunteer Reserve Training School at Hanworth has proved satisfactory. I understand that it has not been flown recently as it is due for a periodical inspection. I have made inquiries into the reasons why this inspection has not been carried out and find that it was due to the non-availability at the Hanworth Centre of certain apparatus required for the purpose, but this is being issued to-day.
