Mr. Pearson

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether he will state the number of cattle slaughtered under the Tuberculosis Order, in each of the Welsh counties for the year ending 31st March, 1939; and the amount of compensation paid to the owners?

The number of cattle slaughtered under the provisions of the Tuberculosis Order of 1938 in each county in Wales (including Monmouth), during the year ended 31st March, 1939,and the amount of compensation paid to the owners in respect thereof, were as follow:
