HC Deb 04 April 1939 vol 345 c2632W
Mr. Bull

asked the Postmaster-General whether he has received any reply from the British Broadcasting Corporation to the suggestions forwarded to him in favour of broadcasts during the summer of the times of liberation of racing pigeons taking part in the larger and more important races, together with some prediction of the weather; and, if so, whether he will state its nature?

Major Tryon

The compilation of broadcast programmes is a responsibility of the governors of the British Broadcasting Corporation and I have therefore brought the suggestions, to which my hon. Friend refers, to their notice and have asked them to communicate with him direct.
