HC Deb 30 November 1938 vol 342 cc427-8W
Mr. R. Gibson

asked the Prime Minister whether he has any statement to make regarding the present position of the boundaries of Czechoslovakia; the date when the present position was fixed; whether the present position is final; what extent of territory and what non-German population are contained on the German side of the said boundaries that were not so contained on the map in the second White Paper presented to this House on the subject; and whether the United Kingdom's guarantee given at Munich is operative in respect of the present position of these boundaries?

Mr. Butler

As regards the first, second and third parts of the question, I would refer the hon. Member to the replies given to the hon. Member for Kingswinford (Mr. A. Henderson) on 23rd November, and to my hon. Friend the Member for Widnes (Mr. Pilkington) and the hon. Member for Bridgwater (Mr. Bartlett) on 28th November. As regards the fourth part, arrangements are being made to publish a White Paper on the subject. As regards the last part, I would refer the hon. Member to recent statements in answer to questions, to which I have nothing to add.
