§ Mr. Parkerasked the Home Secretary whether he is aware that Ernest Arthur Friend, of 8, St. James Place, St. Andrews Road, Romford, has been sent for an indefinite period to an approved school at Newton-le-Willows, Lancashire, for receiving a cycle wheel valued 5s., and that his only previous convictions have been for stealing a quantity of brass fittings valued at 2S., the property of a person unknown, from the garden of an empty house, and a wooden packing case valued at 1s.; and whether he can look into this case with a view to remission of the sentence?
