§ Mr. StanleyTariff preferences and other duty concessions have been secured for textile goods in the agreements concluded with the Dominions and India at the Ottawa Conference and subsequently, and concessions or other safeguards relating to tariffs, quotas, purchase arrangements or exchange facilities have been secured specifically for textiles in trade or payments agreement with some 17 foreign countries.
