Mellerasked the Minister of Transport whether his attention has been called to the serious overcrowding of trains from Wallington, Waddon, Carshalton and Hackbridge to London and back at certain times of the day; and whether he will consult with the Southern Railway Company with a view to an improvement of the existing conditions?
§ Mr. BurginI have received no complaints regarding the Southern Railway services between London and the stations mentioned. I have, however, sent a copy of this question to the company for their observations, which I will in due course communicate to my hon. Friend.
