£ 1936–37 59,000 1937–38 — 1938–39 to date 11,000 It is net possible to furnish figures of the total cost of the military forces in Palestine for the same period, but the following figures show the extra cost of maintaining Army units in Palestine over and above the cost of maintaining them at their normal stations:
