§ Mr. Lennox-BoydThe Unemployment Assistance Board inform my right hon. Friend that under the Unemployment Assistance (Winter Adjustments) Regulations, 1938, temporary additions will be made to allowances in appropriate cases for the pay weeks ending in the period from 14th November, 1938, to 15th April, 1939, inclusive. As explained to the House in the course of the Debate on 18th July last, the administration will proceed on the same general lines as were followed in making the special adjustments last winter, and the necessary review of cases on this basis is now proceeding. A copy of the Board's Instruction to their Officers has been placed in the Library.
