asked the Secretary of State for War how many old British war horses have been brought home from France and Flanders, and what was the cost thereof?

Mr. Hore-Belisha:

The evacuation of British Army horses from France and Flanders at the end of the Great War ceased in 1920. since then no old British war horses have been brought home from those countries under official arrangements.
