HC Deb 04 May 1938 vol 335 c888W
Mr. Anstruther-Gray

asked the Minister of Transport whether any decision has yet been made regarding the re-imposition of the 30-miles-per-hour speed-limit on that portion of the new Glasgow-Edinburgh road passing through Carntyne?

Mr. Burgin:

Yes, Sir; as the result of careful consideration of the report of the inquiry, I have told the corporation that I will accede to their request for re-imposition of the speed limit on this length of road.
