§ Major Tryon:Under the Licence granted to the British Broadcasting Corporation on the 1st January, 1937, they are permitted to announce the name and description of the performers of any item in a broadcast programme. The Licence was presented to this House in draft form as a Command Paper (5329) in December, 1936, and formed the subject of debate.
