I would take this opportunity to draw attention to the fact that the Livestock Industry Act provides a number of safeguards for interests likely to be affected by a Livestock Markets Order, the first of which is that as soon as the Commission decide that an Order is desirable in any area they shall serve written notice on such bodies as614W appear to be representative of the interests concerned and shall take into consideration any representations made by those bodies.
