§ Sir G. Foxasked the Home Secretary whether he can state the number of cases in which pedestrians have been prosecuted by motorists for negligence during the last 12 months?
§ Mr. LloydThe Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis informs me that during 1937 one pedestrian was prosecuted by the police for failing to cross the road on a pedestrian crossing with reasonable despatch, but he is not aware of any prosecutions of pedestrians by motorists. I regret that I have no information about the rest of the country.
