HC Deb 04 March 1938 vol 332 cc1411-2W
Lieut.-Commander Fletcher

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air what were the reasons for the failure to supply the pilot of the Caledonia with the special charts of the North Atlantic which were required by him for the trial crossing of the Atlantic?

Lieut.-Colonel Muirhead

I am informed that the pilot was supplied with every possible chart he might require for the entire crossing from Southampton to New York. I should be glad if the hon. Member would supply me with the evidence on which the allegation contained in his question was based.
