§ Mr. ElliotI have been asked to reply. According to the records of his Approved Society, Mr. Smith had ceased to be an insured person some years before he attained the age of 65. Inquiry was made to see if there was any possibility of extending insurance to his sixty-fifth birthday and satisfying the other statutory conditions. It was found that there were three separate periods of insurance which it has been possible to link up and make the insurance continuous to the sixty-fifth birthday, with the result that title to pension has been established. Mr. Smith has been informed accordingly.
