Mr. Markham

asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether he is aware that public enjoyment of many of the pictures in the new room of the National Gallery is greatly hindered by excessive reflections; and whether experiments are being made to remedy this defect?

Captain Wallace:

The answer to the first part of the question is in the negative, but if the hon. Member will let me know more specifically what he has in mind I will make inquiries.
