InskipThe hon. and gallant Member may rest assured that the Service Departments are well aware of the engineering experience and facilities available in the city of Leeds and considerable use is being made of them. As regards the employment by the Service Departments of engineering firms in Leeds in connection with the rearmament programme, I would refer him to the statement on this matter which I gave to the House on the 15th June last. These facilities will no doubt be taken into full consideration if and when the siting of further shadow factories is under discussion.
