§ Mr. W. S. MorrisonThe latest information available for the whole of England and Wales is that returned as at the 31st December, 1934, when the estimated total area of allotments was 134,000 acres. No information is available as to the position at the 31st December, 1931, but the corresponding figure as at 31st December, 1930, was 146,000 acres. Returns obtained for the years 1932, 1933 and 1935 to 1937 were confined to urban authorities and the figures as regards these are as follow:
