§ Sir P. SassoonI regret that I am not able to state the total number of visitors. The total taken in entrance fees was £23,377. The annual expenditure on warders, etc., is £9,000. The expenditure on the maintenance of the historic parts of the structure in the year ending 31st March, 1937, was about £10,000 and of the remainder £6,000.
