Mr. MorrisonIt is too early to judge the effectiveness of the Land Fertility Scheme. As regards the second part of the question, the position of the home producer in relation to an increase in production resulting from an improvement in the fertility of the soil of this country is already safeguarded in respect of a number of products by direct subsidies, price guarantees, tariffs or import regulation.
