asked the Under-Secretary of State for India whether details of the constitutional reforms made by the Government of Cochin will be communicated to the other Indian States with a view to their possible adoption elsewhere?

The States have the power to initiate reforms themselves. The Paramount Power would in ordinary circumstances confine itself to tendering advice when consulted. I therefore do not think it likely that the Crown Representative will take the action indicated by the hon. Member.
