§ Captain CrookshankI understand that a stoppage of work involving 880 workpeople at Polmaise Nos. 1 and 2 pits locally known at Millhall, commenced on the 24th January. The dispute appears to have arisen out of the alleged wrongful dismissal of a machineman; but I am not yet in possession of full information.
