§ Mr. BernaysIn pursuance of the main recommendation of the Joint Committee, and after consultation with the other Government Departments concerned, my right hon. Friend appointed in March last a Central Advisory Water Committee representative of all interested bodies to advise the Government Departments on matters relating to the conservation and allocation of water resources. The committee is actively engaged on its work.
