The number of children who received free milk in December, 1937, was 10,806. The average quantity of milk per child per day in March, 1937, which is the latest date for which the Board have information on this point, was two-thirds of a pint.

The number of children who received free milk in December, 1937, was 5,505. The average quantity of milk per child per day in March, 1937, which is the latest date for which the Board have information on this point, was one-third of a pint.
