§ Lieut.-Colonel ColvilleContracts of insurance in connection with the building of battleships and other warships are not entered into by the Department but by the shipbuilders. They are placed with a large number of insurance companies but a comprehensive list is not available. I have no information in regard to the point raised in the latter part of the question.
