HC Deb 12 December 1938 vol 342 cc1622-3W
Major Carver

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Education what grants have been awarded so far to each area committee by the National Fitness Council, under the Physical Training and Recreation Act, 1937; and what has been the expenditure in each area on offices, staff and administration?

My hon. Friend will realise that the examination and transmission of all grant applications made under Section 3 (1) (a) of the Act (whether the applications are successful or not) is only one of the

Area Committee. Grants awarded. Expenditure on Offices, Staff and Administration.
