HC Deb 12 December 1938 vol 342 c1627W
Sir E. Graham-Little

asked the Home Secretary whether, in view of the dangerous and humiliating position of British-born women in Germany, married to non-Aryans, and their virtual incarceration in the country owing to the confiscation of their passports, he will now take steps to allow them to resume, should they desire it, their British nationality, which would restore to them their passports and liberty to return to their native land, a privilege long since enjoyed by American women in the same position?

Mr. Lloyd

I am afraid I can add nothing to the reply I gave when the Noble Lady, the Member for Sutton (Viscountess Astor) asked a similar question on 15th November last.
