Member as to the Government Factories which have been set up in 1385W connection with the rearmament programme can best be given in the form of the following table. The figures for the number of men employed in the construction relate to the numbers so employed at the present time and do not cover the numbers employed in the construction of factories which are now complete. I regret that it is not in the public interest to give the information as to the number 1386W of men who are, or will be, employed in the operation of these factories when completed.
