§ Mr. M. MacMillanasked the Prime Minister whether His Majesty's Government will enter into a consultation and exchange of views on the international situation with the Government of Soviet Russia, on the model of the recent Anglo-French conversations?
§ The Prime MinisterAs the hon. Member will be aware, His Majesty's Government and the French Government stand in a special relationship towards each other, which rendered desirable the recent conversations in Paris. While the same procedure would not be suitable in every case, His Majesty's Government are always ready, in the appropriate manner and at the appropriate time, to consult with other Governments and to exchange views on matters of common concern.
