HC Deb 12 April 1938 vol 334 c956W
Sir A. Wilson

asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury what part of the total cost of £2,070 of the Stewart Committee on the Workmen's Compensation Act was incurred in reproducing the minutes of evidence for confidential circulation?

Lieut.-Colonel Colville

The cost of duplicating the minutes of evidence for this purpose was £205. By a misunderstanding, this sum was not included in the total cost of the inquiry, which should therefore be reckoned at £2,275 instead of £2,070.

Sir A. Wilson

asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury what part of the total expenditure of £918 of the committee on compulsory insurance was incurred in printing the minutes of evidence; and how much of the expenditure so incurred has been recouped by sales?

Lieut.-Colonel Colville

The cost of printing the minutes of evidence of the Committee on Compulsory Insurance was £495, of which £241 has been recouped by sales.
