§ Captain WallaceAccording to the official trade returns of Japan, the quantity of copper imported in 1936 was 52,500 tons, and during the first seven months of 1937, 64,700 tons. Since that date, separate particulars of imports of copper have not been published, but have been included with other imports under the heading "Ores and metals."
