§ Mr. Toucheasked the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that a number of horses employed in the riding school at the Royal Military College. Sandhurst, were recently destroyed on the ground that they were 11 years old; whether it is the practice to destroy horses at this age irrespective of their fitness for service; and, if so, will he consider the possibility of retaining fit horses of this age in the service or their sale to suitable employers?
