Mr. Rostron Duckworthasked the Minister of Health whether he is aware of the large amount of public misconception with regard to the payment of allowances in respect of adopted children; and whether he will consider giving publicity to the requirements of the Contributory Pensions Act which covers the grant of such pensions, and specifies that they can only be awarded when children have been legally and officially adopted?
