HC Deb 21 October 1937 vol 327 c48W
Lyons

asked the Minister of Transport whether, in view of the indicated increase in railway fares, he will confer with traffic authorities with a view to a general agreement on the free carriage of children up to five years of age, when accompanied by an adult, on road excursions?

Mr. Burgin

This matter is before me in connection with certain appeals from decisions of Area Traffic Commissioners upon which I hope to be able to publish my decision at an early date.
