asked the Minister of Labour whether he will state the number of young persons transferred from County Durham to other areas in the country during the year 1936 for the purpose of taking up employment under arrangements made by his Department?

During the period in question 3,459 juveniles under the age of 18 were transferred from County Durham to other areas under the Juvenile Transference Scheme.
