HC Deb 18 November 1937 vol 329 c581W
Mr. Mander

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what action he is proposing to take in consequence of the submission, on 30th June, 1936, to the High Commissioner in Palestine of a memorandum signed by 137 Arab senior officials, including judges and administrative officers, condemning the policy of the Government in respect of the Jewish national home, the attempts to suppress the disorders by force, justifying the conduct of the Arab leaders, and urging the suspension of Jewish immigration?

Mr. Ormsby-Gore

A considered reply was returned through the High Commissioner to the memorial in question on 14th August, 1936. It is not proposed to take any further action in the matter.
