HC Deb 17 November 1937 vol 329 c413W
Mr. Crowder

asked the Minister of Transport whether, in view of the fact that private residents are unable to enforce the removal of any vehicles parked outside their front door except as the result of police or legal action, he will consider introducing legislation to give residents this right?

Mr. Burgin

I think that the House would hesitate to give to every resident who found outside his house an unknown car the right to move it along the road, a course which might involve very considerable risks.
