241W
§ Sir W. WomersleyIt is one of the duties of the Television Advisory Committee, under the chairmanship of Lord Selsdon, to plan the development of the television service. The question of the establishment of one or more stations to provide television broadcast programmes in areas beyond the range of the existing 242W London station is reviewed from time to time by the committee; but I understand that further experience of the working of the London station will be necessary before the committee will be in a position to make definite recommendations on the subject.
