§ Mr. ShakespeareThe Admiralty Order quoted in the first part of the question refers to an agreement reached between the Admiralty and the Staff Associations representing the foremen and inspectors of trades serving in His Majesty's Dockyards, for improved scales of salaries for the grades specified in the Order. A claim from the Electrical Power Engineers' Association for the revised scales of salary for inspectors of trades to be extended to senior and electrical station engineers is under consideration, and I hope that a decision will be reached in the near future.
