asked the Minister of Labour, whether he will consider the practicability of steps to grant a retiral allow- ance to young women who will contribute towards the unemployment insurance fund from 14 years of age till marriage without drawing benefit, and who have no intention of returning to industry?

I am afraid that the hon. Member's suggestion would not be consistent with the principles on which the present schemes of unemployment insurance are based.
