Mr. Jenkinsasked the Minister of Health whether any agreement has yet been reached between the local authorities of the eastern valley of Monmouthshire and the Government as to the construction of a sewerage scheme for that district; and, if so, can he indicate when the work is to commence?
§ Sir K. WoodAgreement has been reached on the question of grant from the Commissioner for the Special Areas, subject to my approval of the scheme after a local inquiry which has been arranged for the 23rd instant. I will expedite my decision as far as possible.
