HC Deb 10 November 1937 vol 328 cc1779-80W
Major Guest

asked the Minister of Transport whether he will consider issuing a regulation that motor cars should not draw up and park at a curb or roadside the wrong way of the traffic, especially at night, when their lights confuse the oncoming traffic?

Mr. Burgin

I have no power to make such a regulation but I would refer my hon. and gallant Friend to Section 50 of the Road Traffic Act, 1930, paragraph 43 of the Highway Code and Regulation 12 of the Road Vehicles Lighting Regulations, 1936.
