asked the First Lord of the Admiralty, what is the total number of men in the Royal Naval Reserve; how many of them came from the Western Isles; and how many of that proportion hold warrant rank of patrol skippers?

The total number of seamen in the Royal Naval Reserve is 6,485, of whom 1,634 are registered in the Western Isles. In addition there are 239 officers holding Skipper's rank, of whom four are registered in the Western Isles.
