HC Deb 03 November 1937 vol 328 c933W
Mr. R. C. Morrison

asked the Minister of Transport whether he proposes to amend the statutory provisions for compulsory insurance to meet the large number of cases of persons injured by motor vehicles through no fault of their own, and left without any prospect of obtaining compensation?

Mr. Burgin

The recommendations in the Report of the Committee on Compulsory Insurance, which was appointed by the then President of the Board of Trade, are now being considered by the Departments concerned.
