WarrenderThe annual saving, including the cost of maintenance, resulting from the reductions in officers' chargers in mechanised Artillery Brigades, is estimated at approximately £14,250 a year. The number of chargers so reduced is 311. The annual saving in respect of each charger is therefore approximately £46 and the saving per officer approximately £23. This reduction follows on the policy of mechanisation which has been in progress for some time.
