HC Deb 03 November 1937 vol 328 cc959-60W
Mr. Perkins

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air whether he will inform the House whether the Secretary of State for Air will meet the officers of the British Air Line Pilots' Association to discuss questions of organisation, future status of pilots, conditions of employment, and the future of commercial pilots, etc.?

Lieut.-Colonel Muirhead

My Noble Friend considers that the matters referred to are such as may properly be dealt with between pilots and operating companies and he does not, therefore, consider it appropriate for him to meet the officers of the British Air Line Pilots' Association.
